Hey!
I've been asked the same question probably 200 times in the last six months: what tools are you actually using?
Not what I'd recommend in theory, but what is genuinely open on my screen every single day, and what I've tested, kept, or quietly deleted within a week. The ones below stayed because they actually work for a lean, fast-moving founder operating without a large team behind them.

[the lesson]
You actually have to learn the tools...
I have signed up to more tools than I can count and wasted money on most of them. Not because they were bad, but because I never gave them proper time. I would create an account, poke around for twenty minutes, get interrupted, and never go back. Months later I would see someone raving about the exact tool I had written off, watch their demo, and realise I had missed the entire point of it. I now block two hours every fortnight, no calls, nothing else open, and I pick two tools to actually learn. I connect them to something I genuinely need to do that week. That is the only way to find out whether something saves you time or just adds a new thing to maintain.
You may never use most of the tools on the above list, and that is fine. You should be looking for the small number of things that will genuinely change how you work. That takes patience and proper attention. Pick three categories from the list above that are relevant to where you are right now. Spend real time with one tool from each. Everything else can wait.
Until next week,
Victoria
